Choose the Active Voice for User Messages


A verb is in the active voice when it expresses an action performed by the subject, not when the subject is acted upon. Otherwise, the verb is passive.

Active:                   Passive:
Change me!                   You have to change this.
That is correct.                   You have answered correctly.
