Maintain Contiguity of Stimulus and Response

Learning occurs most readily when the informational stimulus is presented with a simultaneous opportunity for learner response. If not simultaneous, the opportunity for learner response should occur as close to the stimulus as possible. Try to provide as many opportunities for response as possible. In practice, this principle is most effective when the learner response appears on the screen in some form.
